preserve nature, for example, but kill babies. We build solid houses but cannot construct lasting homes. We are smarter but not wiser, bigger but not stronger. We know more but understand less, and we live longer but enjoy life less fully. We write more books but fail to take the time to read them. We go faster but get nowhere, conquer space but cannot conquer our habits, protect whales but abuse our children, go to the moon but wander far from home, and flirt with fantasy to avoid reality.

 The attitudes of great people

Their strength comes from within and not from the external drive, so they don’t necessarily carry rugged faces but bold heart.

They have the ability to dare when every symptom signals withdrawal and so could fight unwavering battles without bloodshed.

They are catalysts, they don’t only possess the activation energy but catalyse others to reaction.

They don’t do wrong, because everybody is on the wrong queue but stand out no matter what to do the right.

They are gracious but unbendable, they are zealously mindful of their focus.

The may not always be the best but make the best of what they are and have.

Great minds don’t criticize, blackmail or gossip but when criticism is necessary they only give constructive criticism.

They believe and invest in people, they are a shelter to the hopeless and the broken-hearted find solace under the wings of their encouragement.

Their heart is an oasis of genuine refreshing love, springing up without hypocrisy for all.

They are a plus to all their acquaintances and so leave people than they meet them.
